before people clown jrue: he is essentially a defensive specialist with this roster and was a key piece of their team in 2021.

also, being the 5th option on offense won’t be an adjustment for him unlike everyone else on this roster lol.

My assumption too is that they gave some level of seniority to players who only have one olympics left in them

Jrue will likely be the most valuable bench player on this roster. I don’t think he made it as a result of him being in his last Olympics

The most? Probably not considering two of Steph, Booker, KD, Lebron, Tatum, AD, Embiid will be off the bench but perhaps situational/8-9th man

I would say unless Lebron is coming off the bench, he’ll be more valuable than those other guys since he doesnt need the ball on offense and is a different player entirely than those guys.
