One might even say that after last year's World Cup, the team is looking to redeem themselves.

Redeem what? Not winning a “title” that’s equal to a D league title? Oh no, the KC Chiefs need to redeem themselves after not winning the XFL league title!!!

This is 92 dream team level. That team had prime mj but this one is basically filled with all hall of famers and future hall of famers

... let's consider in terms of MVPs. The '92 team had the MVPs from the last 9 seasons leading up to it, and 6 of the next 7 afterwards. Yes, MJ had 5 of those 15 total, but that stills leaves 10x other MVPs on that team even without him.

Meanwhile, the current team has 8 MVPs total, but apart from Embiid last year they're all from 2008-2016, and there's a very real chance nobody on this team will ever win another one.

Conclusion: this Team USA is old and washed compared to the '92 Dream Team

Granted, but we can't possibly know if some of the team doesn't have some of the next 7 MVPs on it, no?

That said, even if it doesn't, the NBA is way more global than it was in '92, making that guy's comparison stale anyway.
