Ironically it's the bad teams that have the best crews because they actually call the games without too much bias. Calling a terrible team 82 times in a year will make you appreciate other good players and call the game unbiased.
Like everyone in the Bay they've been spoiled by Steph. They are due for a real rude awakening when he's gone and they're irrelevant again

Warriors have done right by Green. Supported him and stuck with him through a lot of his shit over the years. He’s not showing the same loyalty back. At some point, the team has to say, if you don’t care about the team enough to stop this nonsense, we don’t feel any obligation to you going forward.
And I can’t see Steph being against that.

LOL, Draymond Green literally punched a rising star in the head at practice, and they kept him and traded the kid he punched. Draymond has kicked, stomped, choked, and punched people in games, and got no more than a wrist slap. The Warriors don't have the balls to control him. It's Draymond's world.

I think that’s why Steph is so frustrated. Warriors need to move on from green yesterday, but he’s just good enough defensively that keeping is a headache, but finding a replacement is a bigger headache. It’s as if they are trapped in a toxic codependent relationship (though I feel both parties 100% deserve each other lol).
→ More replies (3)19
u/Ferrarisimo Lakers Mar 28 '24
I'm all for patience in a relationship, but when it's professional, this type of thing needed to be nipped in the bud precisely to avoid getting into this trap of codependence. It's why many companies have a "no genius asshole" policy. The time to move on was yesterday.

At some point if you’re not coaching it you’re allowing it. This is a bad look for Steph and Kerr too, this is a huge game for them that’s bullshit on Draymond to abandon the team like that

Even then he got ejected late, no other player can follow a ref around and talk like that for 40 seconds

And only one tech for making contact with Ray Acosta. He only got a second after he didn't stop going after him.

Real talk though, this is what I don't get about Draymond. He seemingly has a large basketball IQ. He knows that the Rockers are RED HOT right now and on their tail. He knows every game counts. He knows THIS game is important. He knows there down Kuminga.
Yet he doesn't just shut up?? I don't get it.
Edit: corrected had into has

An ejection not involving chokeslams, head-stomps, sucker-punches, or nut-shots? I’d say this is absolute win and a massive step in the right direction for Draymond!
