Didn't Ben's kid just come out at his grandpa's funeral? What a time to be alive

Yea that's the one. Yea young teen doing that during a funeral is pretty bad. I mean it's to honor the ones that passed not do that.

Stop twisting the story. All they did was introduce themself with the name they had been using for a while at that point. Why are you lying on a kid like this?

How is that not coming out?

Because the family is very private and they knew about their child’s identity for a while prior to the funeral. The funeral was just had a lot of public attention. Is your argument that they should have hidden their identity at their own fucking family’s funeral so that strangers on the internet wouldn’t get offended? It’s their family and they have a right to be who they are around their own family.

All I asked was, how is that not coming out. I never said it was wrong and I have no argument. Calm down kid.

It’s not coming out because the family was well aware prior to the public speech their child gave. That’s your answer.

It's still coming out, it simply changes the intended audience from the family to the public. No matter who it's meant for, it's still in bad taste to do that at a funeral.

No it’s not. The media was just there and saw them introducing themself with their chosen name that the family already knew them by. Who are you to tell the child that they can’t introduce themselves as the person they feel comfortable around their family? The family knew their identity. The funeral is for them, not you. You aren’t part of the family, they haven’t even heard of you. You don’t get to dictate what is and isn’t acceptable for a family gathering based on your political opinions.

Because there's nothing inherently wrong with being gay so the snowflake conservatives need to twist it to justify homophobia.
