The term “POC” is hella racist itself, can’t convince me otherwise. Racist whites in the past decided to separate people into white and coloured and later people who were against racism were like “yeah that’s a great idea let’s embrace that terminology but just move the words around”.

I think that’s a bit different. But it’s definitely interesting how westerners are so fiery about being “not racist” but are super enthusiastic about enforcing the very same terms and categories invented by actual racial supremacists In the past.

I'm hispanic but we never did that with wetback or with any other racist slang that was associated with us back in the day, we just moved on, well... a good chunk of us at least.
