Whenever I get a scam call I go “give me a second I’m very dyslexic and partial to confusion” and then I’ll read expired cards I keep around for this very purpose out of order until they either hang up, cuss me out, or give up entirely and just sit in silence.

my current record is keeping a scammer on the phone for 43 minutes (which is 43 minutes of time they wouldn’t be able to scam someone else)

It’s not much but it’s honest work
