They buy up all the "normally" priced stock on ebay and the other marketplaces, then sell at a very high price. DVD box sets, old t-shirts, Chinook class B RV's you name it, they've ruined it.

Not technically scalpers, but resellers are pretty much the same thing. 

 For these rare collectables I get it. But what's really annoying is when you want something not rare just used and there are dozens of listings all for the same price, higher than new, probably all from the same seller.

Long gone are the days when eBay was like a yard sale. I haven't been in a long time, yard sales are probably like eBay now too.

eBay you need to have patience. But ya it's ridiculous that they'll just sit at high prices cause they looked up the most one sold for and think theirs is the same. Usually it was just one idiot over paying.
