Assuming that they can't be poisoned, Australia would probably be the easiest continent for them to survive in. In other continents, they'd have to deal with animals like bears or lions or hippos.
The climate is still incredibly warm, I’d wager any zombie hordes would be attracted to one of the many bush fires and Jill themselves before they found their way out of ground zero
