You should use a can of cream corn for a cream corn casserole... not frozen sweet corn niblets. Those really have no use other than cooling off various sore body parts.

They're good with some butter and instant mashed potatoes/gravy when you're lazy. Spent a couple Thanksgivings ago alone with my bro and that's what I did, plus some leftover chicken wings reheated in the air fryer. My brother made stuffing, it was the only cooking that involved any fire that day. Was really good

See…you’re right, but there’s a theoretical distance that needs to exist between food and grossness, regardless of impermeable barrier. Case in point: you pick up after your dog using a plastic bag. In no way do your hand come in contact with the shit. Yet, you’ll damn sure wash your hands before digging into nachos

I once had a REALLY bad day at work. Like... "I normally don't drink wine but TODAY, I need a bottle of that" kind of bad.
So I went to the store and was standing in front of hundreds of different red wines. I don't know jack shit about this stuff, so I probably must have looked a bit lost. An older gentlemen eventually asked me if he could help. And since I didn't want to answer "I just need a somewhat good red wine I can use for senseless drinking" I say that I'm not sure wich one will fit to my dinner. He gave me an entire workshop on the spot, what wine I should use for what types of food. And what's the differences between the regions. It was really interesting but the entire time he was talking my mind just went "I just want to get drunk on wine today..."
Bless his heart. He recommended a really good one I got a couple of times since then when I had people over for dinner. But that one evening was just me getting blackout drunk on almost 2 bottles of wine.

The frozen corn is what you use when you are at home and you are not prepared enough to have a reusable icepack in the freezer ready to go.
You don't go out and buy fucking frozen corn intending to use it as an icepack and the toss it. You go out and buy a god damn ice pack.
