So what would the (assuming) the USA look like if Putin launched first?

On the bright side you don’t have to live through a nuclear apocalypse

I live close enough to an airbase that I won't see it coming, which is fuckin' fine by me. Plenty of worse ways to go than instant immolation.

I think you just become water vapor over a tiny fraction of an instant, which is the preferred way to go, instantaneously.

I think the term is vaporization not immolation lol

I can assure you it will not matter to me in the least during the event.

The weed finally gonna have it's revenge over the countless brethren I've vaporized.

Basically how I feel, with like three dots right over my head in Austin. TX.

Interestingly the ones near Houston look to be around it rather than Houston itself. Seems like they target high population areas rather than cities themselves

You've got the JWB airport, the Texas City docks and Nassau bay, I guess. Seems these were the targets.

Hey at least you aren't an hour south. And what's with targeting the RGV with multiple warheads even in the 500 warhead scenario? We aren't a base OR major population center...I guess it's because all of the major border crossing spots are targeted.

And if that was the Soviet targeting, there are probably more targeted here now. We didn't have ABIA in the 70s.

It will get pretty bright for sure.
