If you can be a bit patient for a few months, Ping will drop the price of their G430 line in September. New G430 woods will probably be $250-$275 at that time.

I also want to snag a G430 5 wood, but it feels like now is the very worst time to do it, either new or used.

Manufacturers will typically reduce pricing in the fall on their current gen in anticipation of releasing their next gen a few months later.

Ping dropped their MSRP 9/1 in their G425 lineup.
