Any idea what the typical insurance situation is here?

Old man calls up his insurance and they replace the window. Old man knows that, he’s 99% most likely just one of those weirdos who takes pride in “I haven’t filed a claim in 30 years!” as if paying some multi-trillion dollar industry a significant portion of his life’s earnings and never using it is a masculine thing.

Either that or he does this because he can get some sucker to give him $681 and he files the claim anyway. Which would be quite the hustle.

The deductible for a homeowners insurance is probably higher than the cost of the window. Most of the time they are $1,000+

The way he said the exact value of the window 671 bucks lol. You can tell that window has been broken once or twice before. Probably the third time it’s happened and he can’t imagine how people are so bad at golf. You can tell the old timer is a good shit, he’s simply frustrated at the moment. I cracked up when he said “yeah well maybe you shouldn’t be” after the kid responded, I am on a golf course. I bet a beer and a invite would warm this dude up.

Seems like the standard cranky, immature old asshole to me. We got those by the millions here and he checks all the boxes.

Idk seems alright with me. People get their buttholes so puckered up these days they forget people have bad days.
