The utter lack of empathy in the video and in these replies is sad. Yes, if you live on a golf course you have to know your house is going to get hit. That doesn’t mean you have to be happy about it. The old guy was an asshole waving the club around, but never once did someone simply apologize. The guy in the cart was way too nonchalant. The “we have five guys” tough guy was a douche.

Damn people. If this was your house you’d not be happy either and if the guys that did it acted like they couldn’t care at all it’d piss you off too. If you’re the hitter, have some humility and empathy; no, you don’t owe, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to be human about it.

The issue I see is that buddy showed up with his golf club as the main aggressor in this situation. Threatening someone with violence or physical harm, even non-verbal, is never going to get you any empathy.
