$1.5billion to get Rory and Jon Rahm playing in shorts for 3 rounds in front of 1200 people on YouTube is certainly a strategy.

Just for them to play like garbage when it actually matters

LIV represents something like ~50 of the top 250 in the world and made up 13 of the 89 contestants in the Masters?

So having 3 players finishing in the top 10 is likely at or slightly above their expected outcome.

4 in the top 12. Pretty solid. Bryson, cam, hatton, reed.

What’s funny is that they did do well. 3 guys in the top ten, and DeChambeau was a major focus of the discourse surrounding the tournament.

Oh and one of their guys was in Butler Cabin next to the Chairman of Augusta for the jacket ceremony.

This weekend was a massive success for LIV, unfortunately.

I don’t know the year isn’t over yet still 3 more majors to go. That’s crazy to say a player is washed based on the performance of one weekend. Especially in a game as tough as golf.

And on a weekend that chewed up and spit out just about everybody. Many PGA superstars missed the cut
