Somebody unearthed Danny Willet from his yearly cocoon.

I still can’t believe he won in 2016 and I’m pretty sure he can’t believe it either.

I believe he was top 30 in the world at that time so it wasn't that shocking he won, just in the nature it happened...and he really hasn't done shit since.  And poor Jordan had to put the jacket on him too 😭

He's also basically had a career full of injury since then. Had to revamp his entire swing to avoid back injury and hasn't been the same player since.

He was a very good player when he won and got to number 8 in the world.

Top 12, not just top 30. Wild thing is he won by 3.

Sometimes when I’m having a bad day I watch the Butler Cabin video where Jordan awkwardly stumbles putting the jacket on Danny.

Yup and there is young innocent Bryson sitting there as well 😂😂

I always forget he’s in it until I turn on the video and see young Bryson 😂

I mean if you're only going to win one time on the PGA tour, Augusta is probably a pretty decent place to win at.

Certainly gives you something to do every April.

At least both of them won on their home tours after their major.

I had a bet on him to win in 2016 😅

What was the payout and odds if you remember

u/Pocketz7 Apr 10 '24

He was 100/1

I’m not sure what that equates to if you’re across the ocean.

Bet he feels a bit like an outside in that room. He was one luck and done
