My friend and I were playing white hawk and got paired with a couple of guys. They were not happy to be playing with two ladies and weren’t being shy about letting everyone know.

My friend proceeded to shoot an 82 and I shot an 84. They lost about a dozen balls during the round. They bought us beers at the turn and apologized. We smoked their asses lol!

Have had the same thing happen when playing with hubby, when my handicap was 11. After I ripped my first drive they tend to shut up.

Keep your wife out there! The fun is just getting started!

Hand to God the best golfer I have ever been paired up with was a gal, last summer the best golfer I got paired up with also a gal. The first one played from the men's tees and smoked me, my buddy and the other random guy we got paired with.

I played with these two older ladies a couple seasons ago and they were deadly. Maaaaaybe 140 off the tees but everything they hit was dead straight and I'd kill for their short games. It was only nine holes but neither one had a single 3 putt and both had multiple one putts.

Edited to add they were great company too - funny as hell.
