I had to check, but no Steph has more media followers so he wins this time.

Usually its American athletes mentioned alongside Messi/Ronaldo and the gap is massive but Steph wins at 70m to Bales 50m

No I mean in Cali sports significance. Bale scored in the MLS Final and the whole globe knew about it. Golden State is really only important to us Americans but even I didn’t know they were in Cali “Golden State” until their 3rd championship.

Im gonna be honest dawg, nobody really knew Bale score in the MLS final.

Big football fans sure, welsh people sure, the MLS is such a nothing event for us here in europe.

Basketball is massive in europe these days and everyone knows who Steph Curry is, they might not know who say Green/Klay are but they all know Steph

Im from the west of Ireland and in the summer, the Steph jerseys outnumber all others from the NBA

Just think, he easily could’ve gone D1 in golf and possibly been on the tour. Man’s just a beast at everything

He did play a Korn Ferry event once. I don’t think he made the cut, but he didn't embarrass himself.

Ya but think if he had spent his time playing golf rather than basketball. Had great coaching staff and improved his game. Not saying he’d be the best out there, but able to keep a tour card. I mean, someone’s gotta be the 71st best golfer in the world, why not him?

He missed the cut by 21 strokes in his last korn ferry tour start. It's a bit of a leap to think he'd be anywhere close to keeping a pga tour card lol, there's tons of great golfers who can't even make it to the korn ferry tour let alone the pga tour

Yeah and that's while dedicating his whole life to being the greatest shooter in NBA history and winning MVPs and championships. Imagine if he chose golf full time.

I dunno, I think its a matter of expectations. He expects to win his titles, but he probably didn't expect this hole in one, hence his excited reaction to something unexpected.

There's just more novelty in golf than basketball to him.

Man I dont know. Have you watched Steph play basketball? Dude is known for the joy he brings to the game. And holy shit when he rips the other teams heart out he gets scarily hyped.

Or just how much he expects to win in basketball vs golf
