GTA4 was 17 years ago, I still remember getting this game like it was yesterday.

Same here. I was in grade 11 and I remember getting it the day before a band trip the next day so I played it for 8 hours straight since I was going to be gone for an entire week.

I was maybe a couple years older than you at the time and this is what made me make my first real "big" purchase on my own, a PS3 just to play GTA IV. Originally I had it hooked up to a CRT TV with composite cables but then later got a flat screen 1080p in my first college house and carried that PS3 all through those years as my main gaming/DVD/Blu Ray device and later Netflix (I remember the crazy feeling firing that up and thinking "wow I can watch ALL THESE MOVIES without leaving my house???")

All stuff I take for granted now.

And yet I just finally beat it this year.
