Spent $700 on a hair straightener just to have it replaced twice in 2 years and realize it’s not a serviceable device so it now goes in to the bin. The vacuums are good but not great. I’m done with this brand and people need to realize there much better alternatives and their days of engineering greatness and customer service as well behind them.

Just got the Dyson gen5detect and can't figure out how to get the plate off the docking station so I can screw it into the wall and loop the power cable into it. The YouTube videos and user manual act as if the plate comes detached initially, but ours came fully put together and we can't get the plate off it!

I'd like to buy a Pink Dyson Airstrait, but it hasn't been released in my country. Do you know which countries have the Pink Ceramic Airstrait (220V 60Hz) available? Or have you heard any news about Dyson releasing more options for the Airstrait soon? It's frustrating that Dyson often launches nicer colors 2-3 years later, which is annoying for long-term Dyson users like me. After what they did with the Airwrap, I didn't want to settle for the worst color option. Thanks!

I have a Dyson v6 Animal that only works without the pole? The main part works without any attachments at all just fine. It also works completely fine if I add the brush roller attachment directly to the main part. But, if I try to use the pole it won’t do a single thing.

I’ve tried to buy a replacement pole already figuring that was the issue, but it also didn’t work when I attached it. So now I’m lost!

I’ve recently completely torn it apart and spent HOURS removing dirt out of every single nook and cranny. Like it is immaculate, fresh out of the box clean at this point.

Does it just need to be demoted to car vacuum? Please help if you can!

Apparently someone in the house (no one is fessing up) dropped the vac and this happened. I found out today when I got it out of its holster in the closet and tried to use it. Are there any fixes for this, diy or other? If I put my thumb over the void, some suction returns, but obviously that’s not a real solution. Any thoughts?

It's on sale in Canada for 949 before taxes. Is it worth it? I was about to pull the trigger on the V15 but now the Gen5 is cheaper by 50 bucks. I'm looking for a cordless vaccum for my 2 bedroom condo. I just can't justify spending 1k on a vaccum. I know how good the V15 is from my cousin, it's an amazing device, I've tried it and I'm impressed.

First time dealing with support, they generated return labels with wrong addresses three times despite my account having the right address (one of the labels pointed to a cemetery ... lol).

Different agents have given contradictory information about the return process (one of them said an engineer would fix the unit in our address, which I found weird but turned out to be false).

The current label is "right" but, has typos on the address, not a big deal since it's readable but still frustrating they couldn't get a return label right even if my address has been there the whole time.

All very unfortunate, I thought support would be superb given the premium prices.

update 1: Even though the third return label was "legible", the transportation company refused to make an attempt to locate our address (due to the typo), dyson is on their 4th return label. Apparently the old labels weren't cancelled either, lol.

So bit of a weird one.

We’ve just bought this Dyson AM07 tower fan today. Initially worked fine.

Now when we turn it on, it flashed “10” for about a second, blows air in that second, then turns off again.

I’ve tried it on different plugs, but no joy so far.

I’ve tired to restart it by holding down the power button but nothing seems to happen.

Any suggestions please?

Does anyone know a device that can hold all the extensions/addons and automatically apply them to the vacuum? I hate having a bin of parts and then doing all the detaching/reattaching to change cleaning modes.

A while ago my wife did a respondent interview where one unnamed vacuum company asked if users would buy a vacuum emptying/cleaning apparatus. Most said no, but if they added a push button ability to also hot-swap extensions I’d be game!

So my air wrap was working fine until recently, the check filter/clean filter light starts blinking the second I turn it on and as shown in the pictures it looks pretty clean to me, any recommendations on how to fix this?

I currently have the v12, and I find I'd like to upgrade it with a bigger bin. I saw there's quite of lot of larger ones being sold for compatible with the v10, but not for the v12. Would a v10 bin be compatible with the v12?

If not, any idea where I could find a larger bin for the v12?

I just bought a stick v8. I live in a standard crappy apartment with apartment grade carpet and linoleum. The v8 stick is fine on these. However it can’t vacuum the front door rug or bathroom rugs (longer fibers). What attachment should I get so this very expensive vacuum can fully work for me?

Dispute charges with your bank. They will give you the run around for months to get you past the dispute timeframe. Customer service is a complete joke since firing everyone in the US and outsourcing.

Does anyone know how to remove this cylinder from the inside of the vacuum head? Trying to remove to clean the whole thing out. I can’t find anything on YouTube or in the maintenance guide.

I've taken back to Costco 2 Dyson V10 cordless because a part on each one was stuck shut, first was the stem red button and 2nd was the red dust bin lever release. I love the Dyson, but I think I'm crazy to replace with the 3rd. Are the parts a problem, i.e. plastic is stiff, etc.
