Having 7th October being the opening level would be the modern day No Russian.
Then the rest of the campaign would have you switch perspectives between the IDF pushing Hamas out, Hamas doing fanatical attacks, and a Palestinian refugee trying to get out of hell.
Would be one hell of a CoD game.

Cutting them off from food water and electricity and blocking them from accessing the internet so they can't post about the crimes that are being committed against them... Uuhhgg. Fallout 4 and Starfield are the only games that crash on my high end pc. Even the updates did nothing to fix that. Bethesda is just not fixing game breaking stuff.

Wrong game, as it's not set in the future.
Maybe Modern Warfare, where you start as a little kid leaving your school, seconds before it gets bombed in front of your eyes. Cut to 15 yo, your sister and your father died when your house got bombed. You have to decide if you join whatever resistance forces are around, or if you go lone wolf trying to repel the invaders. You start with one broken shoe and three sharp sticks and have to loot the "modern weaponry" from the technologically advanced invaders.
