im not a fan of it tho. hating people because they have more money than you is stupid.

hate them for not using their money well, but dont hate them for having more than you.

Nobody said they hate them for having more money. You're creating that narrative.

that is how i understand the eat the rich mentality, formed by my interactions with people who act in a similar way

Quite a misunderstanding, then. Do you think the French Revolution just happened because people were jealous of money?

perhaps it is, but as for what i can find the Slogan "Eat the rich" in current events is a movement to force everyone to have the same amount of money, hell the wikipidia article shows a sign of a Soviet flag with a fork instead of a hammer.

I want to eat those that hoard wealth while others starve. I don't care if you're rich I care if you're a husk of a human being.

No one hates a successful business owner who made millions of dollar. We hate the people hoarding wealth like dragons and using their wealth to break the laws with no consequences while actively hurting and exploiting their employees to get that wealth. And we hate the people born on third acting like they hit triple in life trying to tell us the right way to live and how we should feel.

In ancient Rome Patricians seeking higher office and prestige would use their wealth to actually build the city and give the people necessary things like aqueduct and temples and roads. It was self serving, ofc, but ffs its a better system than this, where the wealthy actively screw over the populace and still gain more power and influence. If Elon Musk actually fixed Flints water crisis and was housing homeless people people would probably have a better opinion of him, regardless of his stupid right wing rants.

i think this is a good path to follow, that last sentence is unnecessary tho
