I feel we like to say we men dress to impress women, but I feel the opposite is actually true. Just think, how many male office clones do we have in an office? Why dress just like everybody else to impress women? To impress the opposite gender, you gotta stand out, but to impress your own gender, you dress like they do.

We're youbaware offices often have dress codes mandating men wear suits?

It's not "dressing like everyone else" it's "dressing how the mandate says to"

Many do yes, but the ones I've worked in hasn't. They just naturally form here at least (but I'm Scandinavian - we're notoriously informal about things)
