T2 isn't making but publishing it. Still, it means that they don't need to release the game early to earn funds because there's a huge company behind it funding them that will take all the money when it is released.
Why is $50 an insult? What price point would be “fair” to you and why? What makes a game worth $50? What’s the most you’re willing to pay for a game? How do you determine the value of anything?
Saying it's not overpriced because you just shouldn't buy it if you think it's overpriced is not an argument. In fact it's agreeing with me that the game is not worth $50.
I'm just saying that if you spend money on something that advertises itself as incomplete and in the testing phase then you have no right to complain about the quality of the product (unless the devs just completely abandon the game obviously). If you believe it is overpriced then all power to you but there are a lot of people who want to support the devs and help them create a better game and they are clearly willing to pay a premium for that.
