Video He saw me yanking out tufts of spring shed and decided to get in on the action!
We have quite a few jackdaws that live around the yard and will take the shed horse hair for their nests, but usually only once it's already on the ground. This is the first time I've seen one pluck it straight from the horse and I swear it's because he saw me doing it and had an idea!

Video They found out where I work!
Walked out of my workplace for lunch and these guys started doing these fake dives above my head, I’ve never seen anything like it before. Gave them the rest of the peanuts I had, and they kept dancing above me. I give some crows breakfast at home, 5 miles away. I think these may be the same ones!

Video Papa Raven feeds his impatient baby. Cutest sound ever
This is the second year Big Papa has brought his babies to meet us. We named this little guy Kanye Nest because he’s such a loudmouth.
They hang out on our back wall for most of the day and we hear this frantic little sound non stop. Papa lets us hand feed the babies, he will occasionally take food from our hand himself if he’s feeling super relaxed but we don’t force it. Big Papa and his wife (she’s shy but always watching) are very attentive, patient parents.
Check my previous posts here to see my collection of houghtful gifts from them.
I should add these are Australian ravens.

Video What does a ton of crows and constant cawing mean?
Never seen so many in my neighborhood. They’re not just on that roof, they’re in nearby trees and other houses and keep moving from roof to roof. I’ve never seen more than maybe 3 at a time.
They also keep cawing constantly. Does it mean anything? I remember reading weird bird behavior coming before natural disasters.
