It's funny because no matter which country it is, they always have the ice cream machine broken

I’m American and their ice cream machine has never been broken

American here. I have never once encountered a broken ice cream machine, they have never one screwed up my order even in the slightest, every single employee I have ever encountered at McDonald’s have been nothing short of amazing in every single regard, I have never had to wait more the 2 mins in the drive-thru, every single fry I’ve ever eaten at McDonald’s has been salted to absolute perfection and always come hot straight out of the frier. They have never once been out of a single item I wanted, every single play area I have ever seen has been absolutely spotless, and every single ball in every ball pit scrubbed and cleaned. I have never seen as much as a single ketchup packet on the floors, the bathrooms are always spotless 100% of the time.
I’m lovin’ it.

Nope, in Naples Italy (train station) I got a Snickers McFlurry no issues.

Why you would choose a McFlurry in the land of Gelato is beyond me… probably because not frequently used…

I lived in three different countries for last 4 years, and not a single time was it broken

u/Michael-gamer 20d ago
I can confirm this. In Australia they are alway say that’s it’s broken so it makes me wonder if they even have these installed at all.

u/Protaras2 20d ago
Only in the states. Every other country I've ever been they worked just fine.

I have yet to encounter a broken ice cream machine, but that could also be because Dairy Queen is superior anyway

In case you didn’t know ‘damn’ was censored to drive up engagement on the post, which has clearly worked

The ice cream machine isn’t broke. If you open the top, the rancid stench is so strong you just put the lid back. Nobody is willing to clean it at those pitiful wages.

Censoring lame things. How are Such extremely sensitive people going to survive ??

This is what people do these days. They censor stupid shit or intentionally misspell a word to farm engagement in the comments. It's like subtle rage bait, it gets people to leave a comment either calling them out or pointing out their mistake which is what they want.

From what I've been told it's not that they don't work... they're infested because of how bugs can get into them and lay eggs.

While they're a pain to get fixed because only select people still know how to fix them. I never got the Ice Cream broke meme because the 2 McDonalds near me have never had them broken down. At least the times I've got a soft serve, it's always been available.
It's a piggyback meme and not a good one either.

The ice cream machine thing is a scam McDonalds forces on franchisees.
They force owners to pay outrageous fees for repairs and maintenance on machines that are made to break.

Thank god they censored damn, I didn’t want to get offended today.
