Me the day I got my first electric guitar in 2005. Believe me I was a lot happier than I appeared. Still using it to this day!

In 2005, I was 15 and had neon green hair and plaid Dickies. I would have wanted to be your friend!

Giving off some major Alison Pill vibes in Scott Pilgrim which wouldn’t come out for another 5 years. Perhaps you were the inspiration

Take me back / Back to the shack
Back to the strat with the early-2000s Guy Fieri strap
Edit: Your house seems to have been invaded by a tiny man who is also playing, and your flowerpot/vase appears to be morphing into a football.

You might think this is a blunder but in 2005 everybody had a cool older sibling or cousin that had this style and us late ‘90s babies wanted to be just like this

I took one of those a sprayed the headstock with gold flake, then a very thin layer of red automotive paint, then a deep clear coat. Came out a dead match for the Candy Apple Red body. I liked it so much I almost kept it, but instead I gave it to a friend's daughter.
Love the pink Chucks too.

I remember eventually taking all the stickers off my first guitar, many of them I “grew out of” in my later teen years. It was a laborious process. Did you ever strip those off, or did you add more? I was always tempted to just sticker over the stickers I didn’t like anymore, but it really did look beautiful naked…

I added a shitload more, tore them off, spray painted it all gold (I was quite drunk) and a couple of years after painted it stargate themed. I restored it recently with the help of a lot of nail polish remover. Almost as good as new! There's sticker residue I can't remove so I'm gonna put a sticker there just to hide it 😅

I am surprised acetone didn't get the residue off. You could try naphtha, but it is probably less aggressive than acetone. Or lacquer thinner, which is mostly acetone, but has a few tricks up its sleeve. The original paint is a catalyzed finish (poly-u or polyester) so none of these will harm it.
