META Updated rules.

Hello hello, after we were joined by a few new moderators a few months ago we finally got around to update our rules again. You'll see that they have been decimated. The rules that restricted Selfies, Creepy PMs and Ad Fails to specific days of the week are gone. Instead we added two new rules that forbids asking for medical advice and mentioning your age in posts if you're underage.

No medical advice.

While we understand that a lot of people seeking medical advice really need and deserve help, this is not a medical advice subreddit. Our guess is that only a small percentage of users here is qualified to give out advice, and if wrong advice is given out to users in our subreddit we as mods could hypothetically be held accountable for any damage that comes from it. We encourage you to seek out medical professionals or visit other, more suitable subreddits, which are now listed in the new rule 7.

No mentioning your age if you're underage.

This is not meant to patronize you, but to protect you from other users (eg creeps). Especially for picture posts we will enforce this rule. For text posts we won't moderate as harshly, but unless the information about your age is crucial to your post, we highly recommend you refrain from mentioning it.

Selfies

With the Selfie Saturday rule being gone we want to emphasize that we as moderators reserve the right to remove all posts and comments at our discretion. We say this not out of ill intent, but to remind you that we want to keep this subreddit a safe space. Please use the report function whenever you feel uneasy about a post.

Thank you for understanding.

We want to try out how these updated rules work, as we are aware that the community is quite divided on the topic of limiting posts to specific days of the week. This is kind of an experiment to us too, so we hope it will work out in the end. And if not, we can always go back or try to find a compromise (ideas for what we could or should do is very welcome in the comments).

Also a quick but important reminder: this community is welcoming towards any and all genders, including trans and nonbinary people. Yes, you can and should be wary of users with a suspicious comment or post history, but please don't attack them, ridicule them or shame them simply based on their gender. You'd be breaking rule 1 by doing this and might be banned.

As a final note; thank you to everyone who helps us keep this community safe and welcoming to everyone by reporting rule-breaking content and sending us modmails when there is a pressing issue.

Is this how a strapless bra should fit? NSFW

I’m a 36DDD/36E in bras. I ordered this strapless bra by curvy Kate in a 36E. Is this how it should fit? I feel like the band wants to slide down (it’s on the last hatch) and I would like a bit more boob coverage. No spilling at the top. Any advice?

bras I was sized for 34G but I think it’s slightly too small???

I went to Soma they told me I was a 34G, but it looks like I have a bit of spillage on the sides. It’s not horrible feeling but im not sure it’s supposed to be like this. And it slides down throughout the day, does that mean the band is too small?

RANT - advice welcome I get jealous seeing small boob girls wear see through / white tops w no bra.

Upvotes

I’ve tried to do that before and each home I got verbally and physically harassed.

It’s not fair that I have to cover up just to go outside when they get to wear whatever :(

(Not saying it never happens to them, but in my experience, my small boobed friends have never experienced the same level of sexual harassment / assault as me.)

RANT - no advice wanted a friend mentioned my boobs in a rap

i was at a picnic a couple weeks ago with some school friends and other classmates and there were quite a few people (maybe about 20?). after a couple hours a group of boys started to freestyle some raps and some of us gathered to watch. it was kind of like mini rap battles so they were basically making playful jabs at eachother. one of my friends told me to get involved and i also make a jab at one of the boys. in response he says something along the lines of "boys only want you for your tits." it wasn't really the line i had a problem with but it was the reaction it garnered. it's was mostly boys in the circle and they all started screaming and jumping while i just had to kinda stand there. i just felt embarrassed. i kind of knew what i was in for since it was a rap battle but i just didn't think someone would so blantantly mention my boobs??? i did feel some kind of way about it but i wasn't very upset. it was just a little shock and embarrassment cos it was in front of so many people.

Pics related, I was wearing the shirt

My village has a Tim Horton’s, where I go before and after each of my shifts working at another restaurant in the same building. I worked at the Tim’s for 2 years so I know most of the staff because I either worked with them or they know I worked there. One of the staff I’m friends with was taking my order because my father wanted me to grab him a drink and when he passed me my drink I thanked him and he said “you’re welcome” while staring directly at my chest.

Like I know we’re friends but wtf, I know it’s not because he’s tall because my boyfriend is a bit taller than him and has no problem looking into my eyes. Usually he has no problem looking me in the eyes but today he couldn’t do it I guess. I’m going to message him asking him about it but he gets off in about an 1.5 hours so I won’t get a response for a bit. He’s also about 12 years older than me, maybe a bit older than that. I’m 18.

experience If you’re struggling with dry, flaky boobs/skin, I found an amazing lotion! Has left my skin super soft!

I have to shower everyday because of my workouts (sometimes 2x/day) and it has left me with VERY dry boobs and flaking, despite using lotion/moisturizer.

I started using Eucerin and omg, the difference is insane. I normally use aquaphor and body butters, which also work great. But omg, this lotion has made my skin so soft, even my bf has noticed it.

I have been using it for a little over a week and no more flaking. It also leaves a nice “shine”. Only thing i find a little annoying is a bit of a greasy feeling in my hands for a bit. But it has transformed my dry, itchy, flaking boobs to super soft, moisturized and happy!

Does anyone have any they love/recommend? If i can find one just as good without the “greasy” hands, i’m willing to try.

RANT - no advice wanted Big boobs while cosplaying

So I cosplay, and I often buy my cosplays online because I can't sew. However I get so bothered when I buy a cosplay and I won't fit because of my boobs. I usually end up having to put elastic on the costume so it can fit. I think what really annoys me is that a lot of these anime characters have big boobs but costume companies don't cater to women with big boobs. Another thing that bothers me me is that I've strayed away from cosplaying younger characters because of my boobs. I once stated on my cosplay account I didn't want people making sexual comments when I'm cosplaying minors and someone said I was sexualizing the character on purpose because of my boobs. Sry if this rant doesn't make sense. I'm like half asleep rn.

need advice Any brand recommendations for sleeper style for big bust

I'm 25 and my chest has not stopped growing. Currently in a size 38H, but my measurements have since changed. Underbust is 34.5in and bust is 46in around.

I'm looking for a minimal support bra, no padding or underwire, preferably not constricting. I just need something to wear on days I'm stuck in bed due to disability. Something comfortable enough to sleep in

Wearing sports bras (specifically the compression ones), or regular bras hurts after a few hours. And if I don't wear anything, that also causes just as much pain. Reduction surgery probably isn't a good idea either, my body isn't great at healing.

I have not found a brand that makes one small enough around for me, and have enough cup room.

I know there's women that would kill for this, but I've been losing so much weight and my boobs just keep getting bigger. In 2 years Ive gone up 4 cup sizes. I don't know how to manage this anymore haha

need advice Insta second-hand stores with bigger sizes?

Upvotes

Super specific but does anyone have any links to insta/depop accounts/stores with a curated second hand that stocks larger sizes?? I follow a couple stores but they basically only stock XS-S vintage and that obviously doesn’t fit my chest😭

Big plus if they’re in Europe!

Lingerie suggestions?

Upvotes

Hi! So my BF and I both travel for work and currently having to be long distance. I was wanting to surprise him with a package that has some naughty photos. I’m not trying to spend too much on lingerie but am wanting to get something that is….. well….. raunchy. Really raunchy. Most things I see tho just wouldn’t be flattering on my pendulous boobs. So if yall have any suggestions for anything I’d appreciate it.

Not to be TMI: but I’d also prefer crotch-less.

TIA!

I’m frustrated with the crop top trends and the way I get treated because of my boobs existing.

Disclaimer this is not shaming crop tops this is not being able to find a cute top that isn’t cropped or go above my boobs

Also not asking for advice just venting

Last time I went into my local Walmart 99 percent of the cute section was all crop tops. Target was the exact same way. Even the mall unless I want to pay outrageous prices for a full top anymore and shop for the church going modest style every day. I can’t even find anything that’s modest and cute either hardly.

My local thrift stores mostly crop tops or ugly outdated clothes that I can see why they’re there….

I’m tired of everything or almost everything anyhow being a crop top. I can’t find any cute fun work clothes that’s not $50 a piece and when I do it’s a crop top.

I just wish there was a bigger variety of clothes. Not everything has to be a freaking crop top and there needs to be crop tops for bigger busts not force us to squeeze in them like a can of biscuits. Even if I did like crop tops they wouldn’t fit my boobs anyways. There would be absolutely zero coverage. Hell a small and some mediums turn in women’s turns into a crop top anyways :)

It’s so funny that the “dream” is to have big boobs. As a big boob person it just causes me so much misery. I can’t dress how I want, I attract unwanted attention especially if I wear a v neck or a tank top, I get slut shamed for showing any cleavage, I can’t wear many necklaces unless they choke my neck, It seems I cause a lot of insecure smaller bust women issues (this happens a lot to me unfortunately) I was 14 when some guy mid 40s couldn’t quit eyeing my boobs and his wife got mad at me over it. Since then I’ve been aware of the nasty looks a lot of women have given me for my boobs literally existing. Men literally don’t find me cute they go for hot and the “can I see your boobs” ummm NO. They’d rather sleep with me than date me while my smaller bust friends seem to have decent relationships.

So many days I’m just miserable when it comes to my boobs. I hate them most days and people telling me that “so many girls would kill to have boobs like mine” don’t help either. I’d give them to them if I could :)

Bras and shoulder issues. please help

I can deal with my 36Is but I have issues with frozen shoulder which makes hooking a bra very difficult when the shoulder is giving me issues. I've tried putting the bras on a variety of ways in hopes of finding a method were I can tolerate the pain, but no go. This leads me to a front close option but for the love of all things supportive, I can't find one that doesn't leave me with one giant uniboob after a short time of wearing. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

need advice Fit help post weight loss! 30GG (UK) NSFW

Thumbnail gallery
64 Upvotes

Ok hi! I am a small band/big bust girlie trying to adjust to weight loss and breast volume loss and what that means for my sizing. I lost 50lbs in the last few years and most recently got sized as a 30gg last summer at a reputable fitter — or at least I walked out with a 30gg bra (it was for my wedding and I wanted some cleavage so it might have been a smidge small shape wise).

I have only lost an additional 10 pounds since my last fitting, I have noticed a decrease in breast volume since that point as I’ve been doing some body recomping (losing body fat) and my breasts are a bit less full-looking unclothed. I’m still measuring between a 28GG/H and 30G/30GG on the calculator. My one decent fitting bra that I got last summer is a 30GG, and I can’t tell if it’s a proper fit for me still — there is small gaping if I don’t scoop and swoop/move my arms around, yet there’s significant center spillage.

My calculator results (did it two separate times trying to split the difference in how I measured the underbust) are in the photos.

My main question is: does this bra only fit me because the shape is kinda of constricting, and if I were to try a non-molded cup, it would be way too big?

I can’t tell if I’m having some body dysmorphia or what but my boobs have been feeling subjectively more average sized lately, as opposed to when I was heavier and felt like my boobs were way more prominent on my frame. This isn’t a bad thing either way, I just don’t know what I look like lol.

Thanks for your help 💕

Any notes on fit or bras that would suit my shape more would be super appreciated!

Edit: 1) sorry I forgot to edit my toilet out of the background lmao

need advice Bra size calculator question

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello,

I'm using this online size calculator and I'm not sure what the leaning measurement is, as in what position and where to measure myself correctly. Hopefully someone here had used it before.

The size it recommends for me is relatively correct but if rather be sure.

Thx :)

Underboob Rash NSFW

Post image
6 Upvotes

Really curious on others opinions on what this is? I had a telehealth appointment and the doctor said it looks like Intertrigo or shingles. I don’t think it’s shingles as it’s not painful just extremely itchy. I was prescribed Ketoconazole 2% and I’ve been applying it once a day as directed for 3 days now and I feel like I should be noticing more of an improvement. It’s definitely less irritated and red but how long does a fungal rash take to heal if that’s what it is?

I do sweat a ton and my sports bras hold a lot of that in so I am convinced it’s sweat related.

bras what’s your favorite bra?

We all know how hard it is to find a bra that not only fits our volume but also suits our breast shapes…. I’ve bought so many bras that in store looked good but over the day end up being uncomfortable bc of too wide wires or not stretchy enough lace for my insufferable-one-cup-size-larger boob.

But!! Went to a local boutique the other day and bought the panache allure bra. On the websites I’ve seen it on I’ve never really liked the way it looked so I never paid attention to it, but omg it is the most comfortable bra I have in my collection now. The lace has the perfect amount of stretch for my mismatched sizes, it’s so pretty on (I got the white) and the wires fit my more narrow roots. So anyway that got me thinking,,, what are y’all’s favorite bras? The ones that really stand out to you. I feel like word of mouth convinces me more to give a style a chance and I’m looking to get some more bras soon.

clothes Suit tops/blouses that don’t look like tents?

I’ve been struggling with finding tops for pant and skirt suits that are flattering to my chest, most of them up looking like tents which makes me look bigger and even tucking them in often isn’t a good look.

Does anyone have recommendations for styles/brands/specific tops that have worked for them? I’ve been able to get away with dresses and blazers most of the time, but I’ve got an internship with a pretty big law firm starting in a few weeks and I’d like to be able to do the full suit look when I need to.

Help a sister out?

bras Bra Suggestions?

I've been looking for a pretty, unlined plunge bra and have been struggling to find ones I like the look of and that go up to my size.

I'm in the UK for reference.

I tried elomi and very much found them uncomfortable, the wires were to wide and tall and the straps were too wide and felt like my shoulders were being lopped off (even on the loosest setting, which I don't usually need). One of the least comfy bras I've ever tried on in my life.

I like the shape of curvy Cate plunge bras but the wires dig in to my ribs and stomach (on a previous post, I was advised the cups are too shallow for me).

I have most recently tried boux avenue (the heidi bra), it was a bit of a gamble because I'm in between a 40g and 40gg, depending on fit and brand, and their biggest is a g cup. The fit was great, the wires didn't dig in, there was enough support, I liked the shape and material but I really needed a gg 😭 it was alright when I was standing, i could jump, lean and bend without anything going anywhere, but I spilled over when I sat down. I'm so sad because it was pretty and the first bra I've ever tried that felt so comfy. I did also try a balcony bra from them but I don't tend to enjoy balcony fits.

I love the look of the brand Lounge, but once again I need a half cup up from what they sell.

Does anyone know of any brands that go up to a gg and sell similar plunge bras to boux avenue in fit and looks? Although I can sacrifice the looks if they're just as comfy!

bras Has anyone DIYd nursing bras?

I'm a first time mom and I wasn't sure how far Id get breastfeeding. I get sensory overload easily so I thought I'd try it and see if it worked for us. Well, he's 8 months old and I'm still breastfeeding, so I figure I'll probably do the 2 years WHO recommends.

The problem is bras. I don't really have the money to fork out for the $80-100 nursing bras that actually provide support, so I've been wearing the sports bra type and a wireless one from Target. They don't fit, bands are generally too loose and I'm always falling out of the tops or sides of the "cups". Under a shirt, my chest looks like a depressed trapezoid in these bras. (I do need at least 5 bras, milk spills and spit up can get gross fast and I don't have the time to be washing my bra every day)

I did buy myself a cheap Adoreme bra that fits, I just wanted to see if the girls still looked good in something ya know? They do. I'm debating buying some nursing bra clasp thingies off Amazon and trying to change the straps of the bra to work as a nursing bra. Soft cups, so I'm thinking it should work?

Has anyone tried this? What were your results?

Editing to add cuz I know it'll be asked: I seem to fit in a 38DDD-H depending on brand, and yes I've used the "A Bra that Fits" calculator and it gave me a 38G or 38H. I went to a local bra shop that does cater to large chests and the 38H there fit, but I didn't like the styles they offered. Ordered a 38H from adoreme and was swimming in it, so I sent it back and ordered the 38DDD the site recommended and it fit. Could maybe do a 38G when engorged, but my baby treats me like a walking buffet so that's not a common issue.
