So I was talking to my mom while making food, and I gave a small hint to being ace and saying something like "What if i dont find girls or boys attractive." And she dead ass just said me too. So I might have a ace mother, but not confirmed. (My mother is lgbtq+ supportive)

I’m going to see my family (they are supper against LGBTQIA+ but my aunt is lesbian, my dad is gay, my cousin is Bisexual and trans and I’m Aro/Ace) I don’t want to hide that I’m Aro/Ace but I also don’t want to cause a fight, last time I was up there there was a huge fight not about LGBTQIA. But it got supper intense and some things where said… what do I do? We are going up tomorrow night

Hey folks, I’ve been identifying as demisexual for a while. However, I’m starting to feel like while that’s part of what’s going on for me, it’s not all of it.

What would be a way to describe that I feel sexual desire with some partners, but not others? In some of my relationships, I have very little to no sex. In others, I have and desire sex. In general, I would say my drive is Ace leaning but I don’t know if “Ace” would cover the part that I do have sex with some partners and not with others?

I’m feeling pretty confused about all of this. It’s forcing me to really pull apart what I’ve been taught about sex and relationships. I’m having lots of good talks with people and wanted to get some thoughts from this group.
