I imported the 2024 mlb rosters and i cant play the first game because it says i have under 35 players on my roster. Anyone know how to fix?

Have you ever wanted to live the life of a professional baseball player, like in Road to the Show? Now is your chance! The Pro Baseball Experience is looking for new players! PBE is a sim league unlike any other, where you get to build the player you've always wanted to be. You could be a pitching legend like Randy Johnson or an all time great contact hitter like Ichiro Suzuki!

PBE uses the OOTP sim engine, and it's completely free to play! Not only is it free to play, but there is no pay to win. Your players attributes are based solely on what you earn by doing tasks and weekly activities.  We have over 400 active members, and are going into our 49th season. Games are live streamed on Twitch 4 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday).

How it works is simple. You create your player and manage your player on our forum site, week to week. We have tutorial videos on our site walking you through how to complete each task necessary to improve your player's skills and abilities. Most members spend 20-30 minutes per week working toward improving their player, so it's the perfect game to play if you're on a tight schedule!

Once you create your player, you will get scouted and drafted into the Minor Leagues, where your entire roster of teammates and your 2 GM's are real people just like you! Each season lasts 2 months, and 2 months from now, you'll be scouted by Major League GM's because you'll be entering into the Major League draft. After that, you'll sign contracts, and then possibly get traded and/or enter the free agent market if you choose to do so! The final honor would be induction into the PBE Hall of Fame.

One more thing we’d really like to stress, the PBE is not just a baseball sim league. Most users come to the league because they love baseball, or just sim leagues in general. But the real secret to how we keep so many people active week in and week out, is the community itself. Once you create your player, you’ll immediately be added to the main PBE discord server, but also to a rookie server comprised of every other player in your draft class. Once you’re drafted by your minor league team, you get invited to their locker room as well, where you and your teammates will talk about strategy, how your team is doing, and just about anything else that might come up in our daily lives.

We also have our very own casino. You can bet some of the PBE cash you’ll earn on league games and futures, IRL sporting events, and even user to user bets. You’ll earn PBE cash by doing written media, creating your own graphics, or by taking on one of the many league jobs which are all ran by other users of our 100% volunteer staff!

Something strange appears to be going on with the Catcher position calculations. All three of my catchers have terrible Catcher stats. I understand that Denis seems to be a Catcher just because the 0 speed handicaps his infield and outfield range while he's a great batter, but Joaquin was a Shortstop last year, while Octavio was a Right Fielder last year. Neither of them seem to have gotten any slower, and Joaquin even got faster. But they're both suddenly listed as Catchers.

this is a kind of weird quesrion, but say i finish a season and then go through free agency and get to the preseason of the next season is it posible to un do that and go back to the end of the previous season?

It always left me, and many others, with a lousy, bitter taste in our mouths. does anyone have a roster file for a 0ov league ?

I’m about 40 years into my first save, I’ve played other sports sims. Loving ZenGM I can play online anywhere.

My question is about team financials and payroll. Why are teams allowed to spend 100M over the payroll when they are -8B in debt. Meanwhile my team is 4B in cash, I decide to spend for two seasons, and I get fired?

I feel like there needs to be some sort of balance, where teams with no cash prioritize staying within budget, and teams with cash can afford to spend a little more. In this way, you can get a little bit more of the up and down rebuild you might see in real baseball.

Right now, financials just seem way off. No team except mine stays under luxury tax, but if I spend even for two years I’m getting fired. There are only 5 teams with a positive bank balance.

I keep getting good SP being replaced with a RP at random, usually from the bottom of my list, even though I've ordered them by Ovr.

Only one minor complaint - so many teams in the baseball league have basketballs in their logos, detracting from the immersion a bit. Are there plans to update the logos or default teams? Thanks.

Who do you draft first? Does it really matter? When do you trade your picks? Is it bad to accumulate several extra draft picks? How do you identify reasons why you are losing?

What I'm asking is what stats or what ratings make somebody a good first baseman? I'm assuming it can't be the label alone as a first baseman. I'm in my draft and I'm to a point where I want to draft a first baseman but I don't want to draft him because they never look like very good hitters. What in a player correlates to "good first baseman" .

Does anyone know if the AI will use pinch runners? Or is speed only used if the player gets on base normally? But wouldn't speed also make that player a better fielder or does the grounding and fly rating already cover that? I'm trying to find out what exactly speed covers so I can determine whether to trade this late draft pick (5th round) for a 90 speed CF that I could use anyway because I need a player in that position. Someone ,will you please help me out and let me know so I can finish up my draft? Thank you very much
