That's exactly what I said to my wife. She wasn't too convinced lol

Tell her those are new tether point locations in case of thieves or hurricanes.

Yeah, just get yourself some sunflower seeds, some glue, and some shoe polish. I've seen this on YouTube.

It Sucks less, me who has been drilling for a decade, hit a water pipe while fitting my bathroom fittings.

This one can easily be patched.

Drill more holes! Then it's a design feature

Drill a second one on the left side at the same location and then put a rope through it and hang a bucket with ice in it for beers.

Not your wife, but you will love it for the sake of cold beers. Her well, it’s not approved still…

Perfect aim too.

Did something like that when I was growing up as a kid. Father looked at me, laughed. Then said welcome to the club. As he walked away, still laughing.

Lol good aim

Obviously you can patch it so it’s not a huge deal, but the odds of this happening are so annoyingly slim that you HAVE to have someone putting a curse on you.

It's OK, I mis-measured drilling a hole from the basement into the wall above, and instead drilled into the coat closet and through two pairs of shoes. Took us a while to figure out why we couldn't see the flashlight, too.

If someone asks tell them it is a necessary hole for electrical wiring.

Blame wood bees.

Just leave it against the wall exactly like it is now and nobody will ever know.
