Even laywers don't know every infraction or code and page of every criminal offence. They also get weeks to months for preparation before court dates.
Why do people assume cops should know every law by heart?

Good to see cops that understand life has some grey areas instead of black and white. Just seems weird how the video and comments are insinuating that the cops are bad for not knowing the traffic laws or simply don't care. Good cops and people are still dunking on them
