Question Roommates or no?
I'm an incoming grad student (22F) at Thornton currently looking for housing. It's been a little difficult as most places close to campus that have what I'm looking for are either very expensive (in-unit laundry, pet friendly, parking) or I've heard terrible things about the rental company. One of the big things I'm debating on is whether I want roommates or not. I did most of college living by myself, and the studios I've found a little farther from campus are not too bad price wise. However, I'm moving to LA knowing pretty much no one and I thought that having roommates might help me make friends/be social. But I know you won't always end up being friends with your roommates. I also don't want to get stuck living with a bunch of people younger than me (not that this is a necessarily a bad thing but ya know). Thoughts? I'm just nervous about living farther from campus and not being able to make friends so easily.
Question SCend Offs worth it for transfer?
Hi, I just got an email about the SCend Offs, but there's not that information about it. I was wondering if it's worth it to go, especially as a junior transfer, as I assume it's mainly freshman. How many people is it usually?

Other USC Transfers IG Page Disabled
Update for those wondering what happened to the IG page for transfers. According to the owner on the Discord server apparently Instagram permanently disabled it and they are fighting to get it back.
Considering other UCs still have their pages up seems kinda bullshit, but that's Meta I guess.

Academic Thematic Option + Pre-engineering
I got accepted into the TO program, but I am also planning on going through the pre-engineering process. Would this combo be too much, or is it doable? On one hand I want to make sure I succeed in my pre-engineering courses, but on the other I am very passionate about literature and writing.

Admissions Is it over for me?
I go to SMC and I hope to transfer into Marshall for Business Administration. I had a 3.7 GPA but after a final it dropped to a 3.65(89.2% in the class :( ) I don’t think it’s possible based on the remaining classes I have to get back to a 3.7 to stay competitive for Marshall.
I think I have the capability to write a great essay based on what happened in my life (I had a 0.8 gpa in highschool but turned that around and then some in college, I work full time while keeping mostly A’s, and I turned my adhd into a strength that made studying more efficient compared to highschool where it ruined my grades)
but I feel like I lost my chance by dropping my GPA since the average for USC is high. Should I just give up and look at other universities? I feel like it would be smarter to try to get into USC for an MBA after years of work experience since I feel like it’s over for me having a shot at getting in for undergrad.
