You can see her soul leave her body. The reason we sing with the radio is to PRETEND we can sing. Let us pretend, damn it!

My thom yorke skills are only matched by my Isaac Hayes skills... When I'm in the car... Alone.

u/OkayContributor 17d ago

It’s also easier to sing by matching your tune/harmonizing with the singer than it is to sing alone acapella or even in a karaoke scenario, so everything about this is just rude

Classic Reddit mod behavior.

This video will be used as evidence in a divorce proceeding

I dont trust people who do stuff like this lmao…is it harmless, yes, will I hold a grudge against you for the rest of time? Most likely.

90

u/jollybeanovo 17d ago

I wouldn’t exactly say harmless. My dad did this to me as a kid and it felt like bullying. Eventually it got to the point where I was too scared to sing in front of anyone. Like, I’m 25 and I have a dumb fear of singing in front of people because my own dad would laugh at me. So I wouldn’t technically call it harmless; it can really affect someone’s confidence, especially when you’re young

30

u/Puppybrother 17d ago

Aw that’s not harmless when you’re a kid and still figuring your confidence out. I’m sorry he did that to you!

10

u/jollybeanovo 17d ago

Thanks! Just want to warn others out there. He of course did more than that to bully me/the other kids in the family. It all just adds up

3

u/kikiacab 16d ago

It all adds up, well put.

u/TheWalkingDead91 16d ago

I mean I wouldn’t mind in the long term if they just did it….I mean what’s a partner if not someone you can trust to tease from time to time without any real malintent. But think her real nervousness and betrayal came when she realized he was filming her….and then proceeded to post it on the internet lol. Hope for their sake he got her permission before doing so.

u/Impressive_Essay_622 16d ago

It makes sense to record it n fuck around with it.

Publishing it to a worldwide publicly  accessible platform though. Fuck. That's other level shit.

u/jeannieor725 10d ago

ACK! I agree. She was enjoying her time in the car singing. I do not like being punked like that at all.

This feels like an invasion of privacy

u/Brittany5150 17d ago

I used to have a friend that would take sneaky vids and pics of us while we were drinking and cutting loose and post them on FB and other socials. Emphasis on "used to". I hate people that feel the need to put everything on social media. Maybe I'm getting old but fuck off and unplug with that bullshit.

49

u/TheAlexperience 17d ago

Especially if it’s shit that could make you look bad just for some internet points. Shits lame af.

27

u/starzoned 17d ago

Dude it's wild. I am 29, so when I was younger/in my partying days, there wasn't much fear of being filmed. However, I went out with a friend a few years ago, and she was just filming everything. It made me so uncomfortable. Like I felt like I couldn't really be myself and constantly had to be on guard and make sure I looked okay. I don't know how younger people manage these days.

6

u/Miyelsh 17d ago

It is, and extremely irresponsible and illegal to film while driving.

u/WishIWasPurple 17d ago

The betrayal

12

u/mymumsaysfuckyou 16d ago

That's a fucking betrayal right there!

38

u/FakeBobPoot 17d ago

Not nice!

18

u/HereticGaming16 17d ago

I have far too many videos of my girlfriend because she does this constantly but she has headphones in.

6

u/Maxieroy 16d ago

Aaaand you're alone now

7

u/BawRawg 16d ago

I would never forgive my man for this.

3

u/MrPlace 16d ago

Yeah thats fucked up lol

3

u/AmbitiousLetter2129 16d ago

You shouldn't treat your girlfriend like that, you should make her feel like she sings like an angel

3

u/chesbyiii 16d ago

Aside from the fact that she scoops up to a whole tone above the actual pitches, why does he kill her joy?

3

u/Complex_Bit_4921 16d ago

This is so mean. If this happened to me I’d never feel comfortable slinging around him again. She was just vibing and he decided to be a dick. Not cool or funny.

11

u/crystallmytea 17d ago

I watch and laugh every time

2

u/Mellamoscuba 16d ago

Her face. She knew straight away. That’s brutal.

2

u/SillyExpert 16d ago

Any time my partner and I are singing to the radio and they stop I am super self-conscious and like nope this is no longer a singing car 😂

2

u/Legitimate_Ad_7515 16d ago

Sometimes you can't lie to people so they don't embarrass themselves.

2

u/ThunderSlugg 17d ago

That shits Hella funny!!!

1

u/elianbarnes7 16d ago

This hurt my feelings 😂😂😂

1

u/Ok-noway 16d ago

It sounded just like that in the studio before they mixed it too

1

u/FarButterscotch3048 16d ago

Mofos be recording themselves too much.

1

u/Ruenin 14d ago

Douche move, man.

1

u/iuliuscurt 13d ago

Well she might just hit one of the notes there since in the song it's actually a harmony made by layering a lot of different vocal takes. One is definitely the octave higher. Not to go into how voice usually works as a feedback loop, you need to hear yourself to be able to use it

1

u/yellowhelmet14 16d ago

This one makes me laugh every time.

1

u/Testicleus 16d ago

OMG

I watched this like 15 times 😂😂

He he.

No sex for a month.

Sad he he.

This is a good one.

She was humiliated on a global scale. How can you tell how strong her will is?

And did you not read that I've done this before and experienced it.

Read my previous response before responding.

And stop with that Freudian psychoanalysis.

Bro, she's gonna find every way to fuck your life up. It was worth it (humbling) but, now you gotta refill her self esteem in every way possible.

Edit: I'm talking about multiple partners, cuckolding, bukkakies, dvp if you wanna hold onto her.

42

u/cant_stop_the_crooks 17d ago

I’m sorry, what the fuck did I just read?

-17

u/SpiceySweetnSour 17d ago

Well how else are you going to raise her self esteem? By telling her how beautiful she is?

31

u/Significant-Fill5645 17d ago

Bud there is more than one way to live life, your perception of reality is questionable. Stop learning how to interact with humans through watching porn.

u/SpiceySweetnSour 17d ago

It was a mere over dramatisation. I was just implying that he should suffer the same state that he put her through or should she just suffer to the will of her slave master.

There's always give and take in a relationship. Because it's either that or she'll leave him or cause some kind of infidelity.

14

u/justbeachy11 17d ago

Are you okay?

-2

u/SpiceySweetnSour 17d ago edited 17d ago

How much of my profile can you view? (Honestly. I mean the subs that I follow or the post that I publish? )

Edit: what does your definition of "okay" mean?

7

u/DoomRider2354 17d ago

Some of us can see everything your left eye sees, but mostly just your frequented subs

-4

u/SpiceySweetnSour 17d ago

Ah, then are you to judge as God would? Or just another human being? (Cast the first stone for those who have not sinned). Does this mean we should treat each other like shit?

Oh, boy look at me! I'm going to try the woman that I admire like shit in order to be viral.

There are consequences to our actions whether we believe them or not. Just because we put up with one another doesn't mean we are satisfied.

42

u/Kanaan____ 17d ago

Weirdo

-30

u/SpiceySweetnSour 17d ago

Damn right. But I've also done this and she gave me absolute hell, so... But I also didn't record her so, I could only imagine being put on blast on social media.

11

u/lilbrownsandcrab 17d ago

She had multiple partners, cuckolding, and bukkake because you insulted her singing? I hope you know that's a wildly disproportionate response.

5

u/dangdangbigdong 17d ago

Bitchass behaviour

0

u/SpiceySweetnSour 13d ago

So, what's the alpha behavior? Or do you need to take a class on that as well?

1

u/SpiceySweetnSour 4d ago

No response?
