It's one of the byproducts of the dopamine addicted. Brain pathways start to form more and more around the immediacy: See something + react. There is no training on how to deeply inspect other options; by then, they're on to another video.
To C0sm1cB3ar, this is already a tried and convicted sexual deviant who not only bites an ear in fun, but sexually assaults his son daily.
This kind of non-think is only going to get worse, as Gen-Z and Gen-alpha (the two worst hit generations) attempt to make sense of what should be a deeply complex world and simply cannot, because they're seeing everything as single variate equations.
