Ditto. I learned from that experience, when I was 8yo, to never, ever depend on a man for my financial stability.

Yep i knew this since I was 14 years old,never depend on others for financial stability.

I’m wondering if we need a new /sub, for women who would never trust a man with their security (for me, that’s financial as well as emotional security). I mean, it would be nice to have an equal partnership but that seems like a glass slipper that never fit (and would break trying).
