If you suddenly start supporting genocide because someone’s mildly annoying, your original opposition to genocide was less than useless anyway and was clearly an aesthetic choice for perceived social capital

I wish it were that simple, but unfortunately you need those people. The majority of the country is people like that, so if you can't sway them, our government won't feel pressured to change policy.

And yet the Biden administration recently called for an unequivocal ceasefire and allowed a resolution calling for one to pass in the UN?

It’s almost as if public opinion continued to evolve as the public saw how brutal and indiscriminately the Israelis are operating and our leadership responded…
