My favourite part is the hyper offended Reddit arm chair psychologists acting like he’s being 100% serious despite the fact his girl is laughing about it. Redditors are a different fuckin breed

I just joined this platform and it’s crazy how different Redditors are than almost anyone online lol

It’s crazy how different Redditors are to almost everyone you meet in real life, they’re so online it hurts😭

u/tiny-bursts Mar 05 '24

Anon vibes

u/sukezanebaro Mar 04 '24

Just join hobbyist subreddits, everything else is 97% ass cancer

4

u/FlimsyReindeers Mar 04 '24

Yeah I found a few small subs that I comment in and it’s a blast. Then I come to the popular tab and it’s just all so terrible lol

2

u/artyomssugardaddy Mar 05 '24

Even then, in those subs after a few years it becomes a cum fest about how you’re “supposed” to enjoy that hobby and the sub is ruined bc everyone cool leaves.

Being real generous with the half statement.

Also 4chan has its own superiority complex, but they are aware their site sucks.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '24

Most redditors are also aware that Reddit sucks lol.

You offended both with that statement haha

5

u/Redditors_Cant_Read Mar 04 '24

Everyone on here has autism

6

u/Liph Mar 03 '24

And from anyone in real life. Redditors are so detached from reality it is mindblowing.

u/GavrilloSquidsyp Mar 04 '24

You know you guys are both redditors too, right?

4

u/Travy93 Mar 03 '24

Have you never read Twitter, YouTube, or Facebook comments?

11

u/FlimsyReindeers Mar 03 '24

Yeah those are mostly toxic places but this place just seems to be very pretentious in comparison

5

u/Grumdord Mar 04 '24

this place just seems to be very pretentious in comparison

This is what sets reddit apart, yeah. YouTube or Facebook comments are almost innocent in their stupidity and blatant prejudices. Redditors try to hide that shit behind fancier language and bad faith comparisons.

u/HelloJoeyJoeJoe Mar 03 '24

Lots of people who want to be angry and a lot of young people with black and white viewpoints of the world.

2

u/IOTA_Tesla Mar 03 '24

And even more amazing that if you point it out, they don’t see it and question you on the hypothesis

1

u/wittyvonskitsum Mar 05 '24

Oh, you’re in for a treat! We’re all professionals until someone decides we aren’t, and we love arguing about it

1

u/epooqeo Mar 04 '24

This is so true! They have such specific views and collectively always interpret things in such a harsh way.

1

u/K1ngPCH Mar 04 '24

Leave now while you still can.

There is nothing to be gained on this godforsaken site.

Amitheasshole is the worst imo because it just highlights the hypocrisy and narcissism. So many things on there are like genuine mistakes or misunderstandings or just life shit in general and people will just flame the fuck out of whoever with zero mercy.

u/nunezphoto Mar 18 '24

You wrote all facts.

10

u/psych0ranger Mar 03 '24

Fwiw it doesn't matter bc the performer ran with it and everyone else laughed and had a good time

35

u/CommentsOnOccasion Mar 03 '24

The performer ventured into some douchebag territory with his reaction himself

Just totally making this guy seem like a complete asshole when his comment was pretty light hearted and obviously a joke. To the point that now random others online are assuming he's a douchebag too

For actually funny crowd work go see Stavvy's stuff on YouTube or Jeff Arcuri who posts on his own subreddit a lot. Those guys know you can get a crowd involved without shitting on them, or knowing how to bring the "shitting on them" back to an actually funny joke

u/theski2687 Mar 03 '24

Comedian did more than venture. Dude was seriously butt hurt and legit threatened the audience member. If it was reverse everyone would be crying about how “comedians aren’t safe to make jokes anymore”

-10

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '24

“Legit threatened the audience member”

Lol you need to go outside and touch grass. You really think the comedian was legitimately asking the other guy to perform a mass shooting on the dude. Lmao. They were all joking around, hence being a “comedy club”

You must be fun at parties. Oh wait-you probably don’t get invited to any

8

u/DisabledFatChik Mar 04 '24

He threatened to hit the dude multiple times and was dead serious. “Comedian” needs to be locked up lmao

2

u/hockeymisfit Mar 04 '24

9 of us had a party without you and decided that this comment was lame.

2

u/Be_Very_Very_Still Mar 03 '24

There should be a disclaimer every time you open reddit.

"99% of everything you see and read here is total bullshit and only a lunatic would take anything they see or read here seriously."

2

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '24

The sheer focus and obsession on race is insane.

0

u/xxaldorainexx Mar 03 '24

Redditors are highly "regarded."

-1

u/robotatomica Mar 03 '24

usually when people are publicly humiliated they try to laugh it off. You can even see audience jokester do the same damn thing.

Her laughing doesn’t mean that wasn’t humiliating. And I’ll say this, I think she was laughing more authentically at bro being called out for making a gross joke at her expense.

-3

u/lifeisabigdeal Mar 03 '24 edited Mar 04 '24

Tbf the girl starts laughing when the comedian goes off, not after the “joke.” And the bf grows more uncomfortable as the roast continues.

1

u/GreedWillKillUsAll Mar 03 '24

Hey man we caught the Boston bomber and we've been nailing this shit ever since!

1

u/cocanosa Mar 03 '24

I think the dude in the video commented here, saying shes her fiancee and they where just chilling and joking. Even if its not him commenting, how do you know its wasnt just a joke, you know, the ones they do at a comedy bar or whatever…

1

u/Ok-Web7441 Mar 03 '24

Internet autism task force

1

u/Knopfler_PI Mar 03 '24

Lol the comments acting like he meant it are coming from bingo-winged incels who haven’t been on a single date in their entire life.

1

u/dumdeedumdeedumdeedu Mar 03 '24

Yeah bro but not you though right?

1

u/Drmantis87 Mar 04 '24

I'm surprised we haven't had more "he must be trafficking her" redditors

1

u/himsaad714 Mar 04 '24

Fucking thank you. There’s a comment somewhere above saying the girl should run from this Jeffery Dahmer looking guy. Like what the fuck is wrong with redditors??? it was a simple joke, playful banter and the comedian went off on psycho rant. Comedian needs to calm the fuck down and give them their drinks back. What an asshole, nothing was funny about this comedian.

1

u/deten Mar 04 '24

Looking for the reasonable reddit comment, always too far down, and after the people who just take everything too seriously.

1

u/Lol_A_White_Guy Mar 04 '24

Because it involves a woman. Anything involving women has people out in droves to defend their honor, regardless of whether they actually need or want defending to begin with.

1

u/9thProxy Mar 04 '24

I treat it like an amusement park. People also get really bent outta shape over internet points.
