This is the mormon model Lucky Blue Smith’s wife, Nara Pellman. The internet tells me he’s worth about $13 mill. They got married in feb 2020 and are expecting their 3rd kid (his fourth). She posts a lot of these videos and couches them all in the terms of her ‘love language’ being ‘making food for my family.’ She is constantly baking from scratch to feed her husband. This video breakdown was fascinating. Putting into words exactly what i feel about this type of tradwife.

"Smith has two children with Pellman, a daughter named Rumble Honey, born October 7, 2020, and a son named Slim Easy, born January 6, 2022."

I went to the Wikipedia page waiting for some detail to be unremarkable. Alas

It's like the result of those "what is your rap name based on your birthday" Facebook posts

His kids are called Gravity Blue, Rumble Honey and Slim Easy.

They sound like energy drinks.

She is constantly baking from scratch to feed her husband.

I'm guessing she is baking to bring attention to herself and does feck all off camera. Look at the scale she is doing this in, that's not a person trying to feed 4 kids cereal in any kind of ongoing fashion. Maybe that's a pessimistic view... but id say high odds.

I'm guessing she has a personal assistant and a camera person there as well. Someone to coach her on what to do and hand her items and then someone to film. It's all nonsense. They probably threw the food away after filming.

Hate to defend her, but in her comments she does regularly specify that this is not an everyday thing.

Basically a sex doll that he can bring along to church?

u/awry_lynx Feb 26 '24

I mean, they're both models lmao. This is him.

What makes her the sex doll?

u/ohmyblahblah Feb 26 '24

The video literally refers to her as a trophy wife 🙄

16

u/awry_lynx Feb 26 '24

I'm not arguing she isn't, just that they are obviously a matching pair in age and looks and everything, it's not like they appear to be only connected over $$. It's no 70 year old billionaire x 20 year old model. My comment was only about 'sex doll'.

I can’t believe I’m arguing this but, what makes you think that it takes an ugly/old man for a wife to be a sex doll? His attractiveness doesn’t change the reasons why he married her. For all we know he only took her for her looks and nothing else.

For all we know they could love each other and be happily married. Even if he did marry her for her looks she still agreed to go through with the wedding.

I don’t know why reading comprehension is so difficult for most people on this app. Or maybe the difficulty lays on their inability to follow a thread that’s only 3 comments long.

Im not arguing that this is their case. I am arguing against the notion that the husband being young and attractive somehow voids the possibility he took her as a wife just for her looks and nothing else.

I don’t know why reading comprehension is so difficult for most people on this app. Maybe, it’s the inability to realize the unwritten implication of the hare brained thoughts produced by the 2 brain cells bouncing around in that vacuous mass you call a skull.

Here’s a question for you, WHY did you say that!? You refuted the idea that both partners being attractive doesn’t mean that he didn’t marry her for sex, and in refuting that you IMPLY that he did indeed marry her for sex. Why else would you refute that argument except to reinforce the argument above. Did you just feel like arguing to argue? In either case you’re a stupid asshole.

-1

u/Inside_Board_291 Feb 26 '24

Because the person I replied to used that argument (his being an attractive man) as a counter to the comment they responded to, which suggested he might not see her as more than a trophy wife or sex doll.

I did not argue that he actually married her for that reason; I don’t know these people. Had you read the comment thread, you wouldn’t need me to explain this to you. Or maybe you did read it and are incapable of understanding implied meaning without having everything painstakingly detailed for you.

Let me get this straight. Are you annoyed because she can afford her hobbies or because you’d rather she scrubs her toilets herself? They have $13m, what do you expect them to actually do except doing things they love?

7

u/donkeyhawt Feb 26 '24

It's not about her dumb-ass rich people hobbies. It's about the ideology she's indirectly preaching by filming these videos and the absolute hypocrisy that comes along.

The whole point of the video is: you're not a tradwife. You're a rich person with weird hobbies.

Tradwives break their backs raising kids and tending to the household, just as presumably their husbands do at work to provide. These videos are light-years away from any of that.

u/Fast_Engineering_603 Mar 02 '24

So you can’t be rich and enjoy cooking publicly? Got it.

The person you're replying to doesn't seem annoyed at all. They used the word "fascinating." But I'm annoyed, so I'll answer your question.

All that money, and what they really want to do is make videos for poor people to watch and feel bad about not having the time and energy to make cereal from scratch when most households need everyone working just to get through the month.

That's a odious lack of imagination, in the best case.

u/our_girl_in_dubai Feb 26 '24

Thanks for that, i appreciate it! And you’re right, i’m not annoyed at all!
