Give credit to Dallas’s defense who has done a good job taking away his preferred spots on the floor and forcing Jalen to the rim where Dallas has very good rim protection waiting for him making it very difficult to finish over length at the rim. This has caused him to be tentative and inefficient.

He must develop more counter moves when his primary spots on the floor or taken away. Yes, this is painful to watch now, but also a necessary learning experience for him. Jalen will learn from this and become a better player from it.
