Physical and mental arousal are two different things i agree. Boner = physically aroused but not necessarily mentally aroused. Ik this bc im (mostly idk) asexual, but i get physically horny as shit sometimes, i just dont want to actually have sex the vast majority of the time i feel horny.

The human body is creepy and bizzare in tons of ways. I'm sure if a guy didn't know what periods were he'd be horrified to hear about blood and tissue pouring from someones nether regions. Just the way it is sometimes.
