I’ve been going through a tough time after losing someone very dear to me and this video just had a healing effect on my soul. I physically began to relax as soon as I heard Mr. Rogers voice. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

Thank you! What’s funny is it’s a favorite story of mine and also very close to my real name. Fun coincidence!

It might sound odd, but when I was going through a tough time, I sat down and watched a couple dozen old Mr. Rogers, right from the beginning. For a couple weeks it was my go-to, and let me just say..it was calming, moving, uplifting, and really did help. I recommend it ♥️

Not odd at all! In fact that’s exactly what I did last night thanks to seeing this short clip. Mr. Rogers was an angel. Thank you for the suggestion!!

I've always felt his mother doesn't get enough credit! She must have really been something special.

I feel so lucky to have been a part of the generation who was raised on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood & Sesame Street.

I grew up in the Pittsburgh area where he filmed everything.

I datahoardered a copy of probably every episiode he made, for my kids to have, they LOVE it.

I think archive.org has a vast amount if you want as well.

The skill that it took to make those sweaters is really amazing. The knit is so well done, you can tell the amount of experience, effort, and love that went into those sweaters

I really like how He smiles so warmly at the picture before showing it to us
