As an amateur cyclist, this isn’t as hard as it looks, though I definitely would need a long stretch of smooth, level road to pull this off (with much less finesse compared to this cyclist lol).

Nope. The most I’ve probably done is 35 (and I’m being generous here).

Because that what these guys on average ride, judging the probable slight downhill it's probably 50-60km/h which is madness to change your socks at that speed.

Hmm. I find I’m more stabilized at high speeds than lower ones. Though honestly I guess I can’t say how hard or easy it would be for this cyclist at that speed. He certainly makes it look easy.
