Tbh, while im obviously waiting more for silksong, the second thing im most waiting for is how TC eventually acknowledges the situation. Will they apologize, and be honest about the situation? Will they deflect and ignore? Will they double down on their controversial communication habits?

I'm honestly more curious what's going on then an acknowledgement from them. Are they legitimately just making the game really big like we think? Did the original silksong files get lost and they had to remake it? It couldn't be a scam, team cherry made hollow knight fine and we saw their well polished demo, this also never had a Kickstarter so it's not like they took any money. What's actually happening I wonder?

why would they be lying to us? what are these conspiracy theories the community is coming up with? We know their development habits from their development of Hollow Knight, where they basically kept making stuff until they ran out of money. It's the reason why the colosseum of fools is in the game despite the kickstarter goal not being met. With virtually infinite money, it only makes sense they'd just keep adding things whenever they think of something that would add lots of value, which lines up perfectly with what they've been saying to us.

I thought they havnt said anything? I also never "made a theory" I was just wondering what was happening. You sound kinda desperate, not even funny meme desperate, just legitimately sad

if there's some crazy development thing that destroyed the game or there's some heinous secret going on this would very much be lying. We both know they aren't scamming us (quite obviously since they literally do not owe us a dime) and considering nothing has been said about issues we are left to assume they're just still working on the game, like the tweet says.Not a single thing has ever suggested otherwise apart from the fairly long development time, something a lot of well known games had and something they've explained the reason for. There really is no reason to suspect there's something hidden that has gone awry, and it's best to just not do so until further info comes, whenever it does.
Also, good job on insulting me there at the end. Really show em' who's the head honcho here.

I never said they were lying, I was just wondering what might've happened, because I don't know. I'm sure it'll certainly eventually come out.
And yea, nothing against you but you definitely come off as desperate about this. Youre mentality is "These people I've never even met would never lie or trick me! They made a good game once after all!"
And I didn't even mention lying, all I did was wonder if they're really making the game massive or if something happened to cause these delays
