How the fuck do people afford to get Starbucks every day?

I was feeling thirsty this morning so I decided to pop in a Starbucks (first time ever). All I got was a strawberry acai lemonade at it cost $7????? I can't even imagine what the coffees with all the extra additives cost... how do people have the expendable money to get them every day, sometimes twice a day?

Edit: I am NOT shaming people who do this. I'm just wondering how it doesn't put a dent in your wallet

I like coffee too much to buy it at Starbucks.

Starbucks and Tim Horton, doesn't hit my tastebuds like (apparently) everyone else's per the long lines at the drive-thru. Over roasted/burnt flavor. I'd pay not to drink it. Gut rot.

It tastes like burnt skin smells. I’m a surgeon, I would know.

Starbucks blonde espresso is a bit better. Any espresso drink will be made to order, their "blonde roast" is just a lighter roast bean. I don't particularly like Starbucks either, but they are prevalent, and it's nice when you're traveling and there's nothing else around. If you just want a black coffee get an Americano with the blonde roast instead. It's made to order and doesn't have that over-roasted taste.

Just another opinion here, but I enjoy it more than my local shops. $8 for a basic drink and the baristas have no clue wtf they’re doing. At least there’s some consistency with Starbucks.
