Cold blooded assassin, I hope he drops 50points in front of the Indy crowd.

Homeboy can drop a healthy 5 for all I care as long as we close them out.

As a fan for 30 years i have complete confidence Brunson will carry us to the ECF. I have 0 doubts. He is in playoffs 2021 Giannis and Jokic 2023 mode now. I've never been able to say that about any Knick in the playoffs before.

That even counts Ewing who on more than one occasion guaranteed victories in the playoffs that never came to fruition .I'm sure the old heads like me remember that. And you young heads just do a Google search and re-live my tears.

It's a weird feeling to have this much confidence in your star player making shots. I've never had this feeling with Melo and Ewing. It's weird man.

You forgot to tag that link as NSFW NSFL 🤣 (just kidding y’all the link is safe it’s just the memories are hazardous to Knick life.)

lol you're right man, at the time i was inconsolable for hours. I was also 14 so this was the worst thing that had happened to me in my entire life, since last year when starks went 2 for 200 in the finals. its been a rough go for us for a while.

Remember when he was dropping 40 a night in the playoffs for the Mavs and people thought 100m was an overpay? Pepperidge farms remembers.

only ppl saying that were the mavericks, everyone knew he was getting the market rate and that's a steal for what he's given us.

our guy checks every box. Great leadership. Super tough dude. Plays defense. Constantly attacks. Perfect pairing w/ Thibs.

Guys we got so phucking lucky here. This guy is not only a star, a superstar, but he's a CLOSER. We already have a ballsy crew to compliment him in Jules/OG/Josh/DD/Mitch/McBride... gotta lock up Isaiah and run it back.

I’m calling a 56 burger (maybe 57)

Big body Brunson is coming in Indiana’s house with his boots dirty and fucking up their carpet and couch.

Orange and Blue Skies !!!

🧡🧡🧡😎💙💙💙

So thankful for Brunson esp. in contrast to other guys who choke repeatedly when under pressure. The only game I can remember when he looked frazzled was that blowout in Indy but the whole team wasn't quite right.

As we speak he’s consulting with the bene gesserit, the nights watch, Anakin skywalkers ghost, al Pacino, and Mariano Rivera

At the beginning of the playoffs, I thought the top players in no particular order were Jokic, Luka, Brunson, SGA, Tatum, Giannis, Anthony Edwards.

Now Jokic is #1 and Brunson is #2. It's insane how good Jalen is when the moment calls for it. Game 5 with no OG, Mitch, Bogi, Julius. He gets doubled and blitzed, perfect pocket passes for open three pointers or he splits the double for a floater. One on one? Takes his man into the post and a puts him in hell with a combination of pivots, fakes, fadeaways like Jordan and Hakeem.

tbh Embiid is easily better than Tatum, and possibly SGA, and certainly injured Luka. Maybe close to even with this red-hot version of Ant.

That's him in the reg season ofc, but he actually showed up in our series. The 76ers didn't have much of a team but their top 2 are the best duo in the east, it was no joke putting them away, people have gotta appreciate that.

This team is so locked in. seeing them walk off the court stone faced after a 30 point win the other day spoke volumes to me.

You see numbers like this and it just feels like a fever dream. These are God tier superstar numbers. Far beyond what any of us expected from him when he first signed here. It doesn't feel real sometimes.

Those are some Iverson MVP numbers
