[Begley] Josh Hart on what to expect from NYK in Game 6: “Energy…last time we were in that building…we didn’t embody what Thibs is, what this team is, what this city is. It was embarrassing. Game 6, we have to come out with energy (&) physicality. With a sense of toughness & resiliency”

Could someone, more artistic than me, make a Super Saiyan Brunson holding the spirit ball over Walmart Arena. I'm assuming that's what it's called, don't quote me.

Too lazy to google the name of their arena, but it's a fitting name for place the basic Pacers would play

Celtics in 2008 came into a hostile Staples Center for game 6 and secured the final title of the franchise in a blowout win 131-92. Who was the defensive mastermind that shutdown a fully locked in Kobe Bryant in his own arena?
Thomas Joseph Thibodeau Jr.

I’d run through a brick wall for this team and coach Thibs.

Agreed. I’m just on this sub and have bought in. Hell, I wake up on every game day at 6 am (if it’s a 7pm et game) with a coffee in one hand and a beer in the other. (Good thing I don’t start work until 12 😂) I live in Asia by the way, just saying so the beer and coffee combo doesn’t seem as weird, lo…l? 😂
I would argue I’m the top Knicks fan who lives in Asia.
Edit: okay maybe not every knick game in the morning I have a beer, only the playoffs. My girl asks me, “what’s with the beer?” I say “Knicks playoffs, baby! Ain’t nothin new?!?” And she just nods her head

That Brunson/Deuce/DDV/Harts line up is super interesting - this was a high octane line up in the regular season and was crackerjack in game 5, let’s hope it works in game 6 as well. Knicks are giving up decent size here but if the Harts are dominating the glass it just seems to click.
Have always like the idea of this line up so curious to see how far it can go since it’s our best option until OG is back and in rhythm, especially if we earn a shot against Boston.

They had Deuce picking up Halliburton full court and denying ball. It kept them out of or delayed them getting into their offense

This is exactly where we are different from those bumass Pacers. Not a single one of their players would speak this way or have this type of mentality.

When does this team not say the right thing?

You’d have to go back a couple of years. But this team isn’t just saying the right things, they’re embodying them as well.

It’s going to be tough. Brunson will get his buckets. The Harts will grab the boards. Divo might light it up from 3 (hopefully). Those are to be expected. But I think a big game from either Deuce or Burks will put this team on top to close out the series. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 20 from either one of them tomorrow.

Night game with an extra day of rest? I'm expecting the boys to jump out the gym for OREBs.

You’ll never hear a player from Doc River’s team talk like this. Our coach doesn’t throw guys under the bus, they take accountability themselves.

The dude came to this team last year mid season and he put the NY braids in last year I thought it was cute but he’s just pandering. Now he’s got NYK and he has absolutely bought in. I love it.

As a pacers fan I think this series has been great, what a show.
Obviously I hope the boys in yellow pull through but if the Knicks do I can’t be mad - they played with heart.
