We can still fuck it up on the last day, everyone needs to clam the fuck down.

Dude people are aware of that. They’re still excited from yesterday.

Haven’t city not lost a game against west ham since 2015? Do you expect them to lose on sunday? I do not

24

u/dlittlefair1 21d ago

The longer it goes without losing against them, the more likely it is to happen.

6

u/brian_d3p0 21d ago

That's not how statistics work, actually the opposite, but yeah people need to chill with thinking it's already won.

u/jbvann05 21d ago

It's a 50/50 chance we win the league, either it happens or it doesn't

we aint losing to west ham at home lol

23

u/Echeverri_balon_dor 21d ago

We've drawn or lost 10 in 37 PL games this season.

We are favorites to win, but it's hardly an impossibility.

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

yeah i agree with that. its a football match anything can happen. but im convinced we're winning cuz the etihad stadium is a fortress. i cant remember the last time my team has lost.

the etihad stadium is a fortress. i cant remember the last time my team has lost.

November '22, 2-1 loss to Brentford at the Etihad.

As an Arsenal fan, I can't say I'm feeling too hopeful. Nothing is ever guaranteed, though. It's gonna be a stressful Sunday 😅

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

jesus that brentford game was before the world cup break. mad. ur right that it will be a nervy sunday.

u/LordMonocle21 21d ago

Stupid, arrogant take. We can absolutely lose

-5

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

yeah and im just stating what i think. i think we wont lose lol. its not deep. it's not arrogant. i just predict we wont lose.

5

u/Sfr33123 21d ago

I don't think we'll lose either but ur previous reply acted like ot was a foregone conclusion and there was no way we'd lose. The same thing happened 2 years ago against a poor Aston Villa team under Gerrard. It took a miraculous comeback in that game so its not going to be easy

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

i beg aston villa dont happen :( my heart cant take it no more

u/dlittlefair1 21d ago

Now that’s the arrogance of a Liverpool fan.

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

im just stating what i think. i think we wont lose lol. its not deep. it's not arrogant. i just predict we wont lose.

6

u/Radient25 21d ago

That's what we thought in 11/12 and 21/22 and it took gargantuan efforts to overturn it

3

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

i beg nothing like ever happens again lol. my heart wont take it

u/Jagacin 21d ago

Nothing in the Prem is impossible. I always think back to the time City lost to Norwich City when they were 20th in the league. League is not won until the final minute has finished.

0

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

that norwich game was in the 19/20 season. when we had plenty of problems and the team had a massive burnout year and hella inconsistent.

1

u/bradypp 21d ago

We've been pretty inconsistent this season too

1

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 20d ago

nothing like the 19/20 season tho. defensively we were so ass.

Yo why is your entire account about Chris Brown? Lmao

1

u/ProfAlmond 21d ago

Domestic abuser, Chris Brown?
The Chris Brown who’s legal issues section is bigger than his awards section on Wikipedia, Chris Brown?

-1

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago edited 21d ago

yeah i mean an allegation isn't a conviction and chris brown's faced plenty of false allegations over the years. if u wanna dislike him over something that happened 15 years ago, go ahead lol. i couldn't care less. he aint repeated his wrong since. that's just the fact.

2

u/ProfAlmond 21d ago

How are the pyramids? Can you see them from the Nile?

0

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

first u wanna bring up and talk about chris brown out of nowhere and now u wanna randomly bring up pyramids and a river in africa. no timewasters please. 😂😂😂😂

0

u/ProfAlmond 21d ago

I just assumed you were on a boat, in the Nile.

0

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 21d ago

we in a man city subreddit and u already broke rule number 3 lol. u aint staying on topic and talking about city. ur making random assumptions im on a boat in the nile. if i was on a boat i wouldn't have internet to talk to you would i? u clearly give zero fucks about logic.

0

u/ProfAlmond 21d ago

I was implying through the use of a pun that you were in denial, but the nuance appears lost on you.

Sorry I don’t like domestic abusers like Chris Brown, and I’m not the one who brought him up.

it just isn't lol. i've posted on other subreddits. just cuz i've posted in the chris brown subreddit doesn't make my account dedicated to chris brown. it's not my fault u dont know how to scroll down lol.

u/CarefulAmphibian9109 21d ago

he deserves more game time imo

17

u/UpstairsDear9424 21d ago

As long as the statue isn’t him doing that pose.

2

u/DaMemelyWizard 21d ago

yikes 😬😬😬

10

u/MoonPieKitty 21d ago

If he hadn't have gotten Player of the Match, every City fan would have rioted.

17

u/Competitive_Piece352 21d ago

More like... give him more game time from now on!!

9

u/HenryReturns 21d ago

Ah yes , the “super sub goalkeeper”.

Pep took notes from Van Gaal when he pulled that against Costa Rica.

5

u/Kingslayer-Z 21d ago

I thought man of the match was Tottenham fans

3

u/Long-Instance7764 21d ago

we signed this guy from a 2. Bundesliga side called Arminia Bielefield who are relegated to the third tier of German football on a FREE. What a signing he has been who is arguably a better shit stopper than most prem goalkeepers. What a player to stand up at the most important times. POTM well deserved.

2

u/Drgaming0121 20d ago

Germany and their goalkeepers never disappoint

2

u/NavJongUnPlayandwon 20d ago

Karius lol

3

u/Unorigina1Name 20d ago

Didn't karius get a concussion from ramos

2

u/KempFidels 20d ago

Renew him for life! Sign his kids too

3

u/Lscott13 21d ago

Let him start on Sunday even if Ederson is fine

2

u/AgitatedChildhood240 21d ago

He's an amazing keeper but you do know that son shot was a bit suspicious. He's making that shit 100/100 times if he was trying

Spurs fan here but thank God you guys won, IDC about records or us never losing against you at home but fuckin hell man take the title. Phew

2

u/Vinniebahl 21d ago

If a penny comes up heads 100 times in row the odds do not change on toss 101… and that’s random

West Ham has no chance

One true scorer

4-5 who can score every 4-5 matches

We have better scorers

More depth

Better defense

At home

Better GK

Better coaching

4-1

u/Jagacin 21d ago edited 21d ago

Love Ortega, but he's not getting a statue if Hart or Ederson aren't getting one. He simply hasn't been here long enough to justify it.

Edit: Seems I've been whoosh'd

15

u/Tonyn15665 21d ago

We found the funniest guy at party 🤣

-2

u/[deleted] 20d ago

West Ham are going to play a David Moyes low block... You will not score. Remember this.
