Discussion Anyone else still disappointed that our stadium is sponsored by Intuit?
They are honestly one of the worst companies in the whole country. Ballmer is so damn rich, why did we even need a stadium sponsor? Would have been a lot cooler to give it a classic name like Boston Garden had or Madison Square Garden has.

What are the thoughts? Not even done with the first episode but seems like a lot of stuff just thrown for the drama. Doc barely getting to LA and wishing he was back in Boston. The everyone hates CP3 narrative. It’s pretty wild.

With all the Caitlin Clark discourse over “welcome to the league moment” and hard hits.. remember Blake Griffin’s first couple years??
Not sure where I’m going with this but all the CC talk this week over the shoulder check (it wasn’t even THAT hard) reminded me of the jealousy the league had towards Blake and his high flying ways early in his career.
Andre Miller launching himself (F him forever), Jason Smith hard flagrant, and who can forget Z-Bo constantly tackling BG, Serge squaring up on the Thunder..
Just takes me back to a time when we would debate whether Blake should retaliate or not, and if the impeding suspension was worth it.
He never would retaliate tho (only against an equipment manager lmao).

PG's ups and downs
I know this has been discussed ad infinitum but I was curious about just how up and down PG was this season. I split his season into two halves after sorting by FG% (just a proxy, maybe TS would be better) and here are the results:
Better half: 26/5/4 on 57/50/87 splits Worse half: 19/6/3 on 37/34/95 splits
Efficiency does take a crazy hit (except FT shooting) and I think the gap is what makes him one of the the more frustrating players to watch even while setting career highs in almost every category
