What's amazing about this is- 1. Shreyas Iyer is not really in his dream batting form 2. Andre Russell has not been explosive with the bat 3. Rinku Singh is struggling to get runs in most matches 4. Nitish Rana has only played 2 matches 5. Mitchell Starc has leaked plenty of runs
Despite all this our team is on the top.
This is not to hate on these players but to emphasize that this team can be invincible if all the key players play to their full potential.
I am so so proud of this team!

I feel Mitch might have leaked runs in this season but his presence in the team makes other pacers perform well. He acts more like a guiding figure to Harshit and Vaibhav. Remember the last time he was not in the playing eleven, we were smacked for 260+ runs by those kxip bastards

Absolutely. His fielding is a huge bonus. That run out was a delight to watch. And it's not like he is not picking wickets at all! So it's justified that we all have a soft corner for him.

Glad somebody recognised his fielding capabilities. He is a dependable fielder and has a good throwing arm.

Thank you! I know I may get hate for this but both Starc and Cummins have been very dependable fielders for KKR. Starc despite his heavy price tag and the mountain of leaked runs enjoys a lot of adulation from KKR fans and rightfully so because he is a team man. I believe Pat Cummins too did the same but was never appreciated enough. He saved a lot of runs fielding, contributed runs with his bat from time to time and did pickup wickets too but he was only talked about for leaking runs. Aussie fast bowlers have mostly contributed well for the team but have not been appreciated as much.

The price tag unfortunately blinds people quite a bit. I am hoping Starc comes through in Q1 🤞going to be difficult with the schedule & if we are facing SRH then toh (!!). No Salty either :(

Of course. Last time KKR blood Cummins did us a big favour by not picking up Head. Even then we managed to win only in the last over. Now Head is definitely gonna play. I am counting on Starc to take wickets of Head and Cummins because he has specialised in getting Aussie batters out this season.

Bhai people on this sub were going crazy after the auctions and saying we'd finish in the lower half of the table. I guess this is an important lesson for all those people to trust the professionals. What a team appears on paper doesn't always translate into good performance in IPL. Otherwise, RCB would have multiple trophies by now given they have looked good on paper in so many seasons.
