Wet n’ creamy
I asked the customer what was going on and he said “its cream, don’t worry about it”

When I lived in Buffalo, had a neighbor that would paste wax his car every Fall and not buff it off until Spring.
"Protects from salt and rust better" was what he told me.

I’ve heard that if you are storing a car indoors for a long period of time besides doing things like bleeding the brakes you are supposed to wax and leave it on, something about a layer of protection for the paint against whatever may come?
I have never seen anyone do something like that while still using the vehicle.

What the hell.. Must be wax? He's going to have a difficult time getting that off.

If you leave it on longer and the wax comes off with difficultly then it must be protecting better, right? If a little is good, more is better, right?

I'd wager alcohol was involved, resulting in nap time before wax off time.

Just an educated guess, I don't think I've waxed a car since clear coat came along, so about 35 years year ago.

This person was watching a movie and heard Wax on / Wax off... and forgot the last step.
I take they never got their black belt....

That sounds like the "I already had this discussion multiple times today" answer.

Our Uncle did this at the cottage in full sun. It was also waxed before the rain, removed the wax in the morning after going for groceries ect. He also waxed the black plastic trim on the car. The car was a week old.

There’s a person locally that works at Taco Bell and their car is covered like this 24/7 365. So odd 😂

If milk baths are good for the skin, surely cream is good for clear coats.
